World of Tanks T30 - 10 Kills 9,2K Damage

The T30 is an American tier 9 turreted tank destroyer.

Experimental heavy tank. The vehicle was an early version of the T29 with enhanced armament. Two prototypes were built in 1945–1947 and underwent trials at the Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1948. Never entered mass production or saw service.

The T30 has a long history in World of Tanks. It started as a very good above average performing Tier X Heavy tank, that after several consecutive nerfs, ended at the back of the caravan. Its transformation into a Tier IX tank destroyer made this tank once again, very enjoyable to play. Its main weapon, the 155 mm T7, was formidable already in the Tier X arena, but when used against Tier VIII and Tier IX targets, "devastation" is the only word that comes to mind. However, the T30 has a very weak hull, and under no circumstances can it afford to ignore low tier opponents. In the hands of a skillful player that knows how to properly use its strong points, the T30 can face any tank in-game and single-handedly change the course of the entire battle.

World of Tanks Type 5 Heavy - 6 Kills 10,3K Damage

The Type 5 Heavy is a Japanese tier 10 heavy tank.

The Type 5, also known as the Type 2605, was one of the variants of the O-I superheavy tank, developed during WWII. The vehicle was planned to be used for breaking through fortified enemy lines and for coastal defense.

Sometimes known as "Godzilla" the Type 5 Heavy is the final evolution of Japanese Super-Heavies. Its just massive as it seems: it has the second highest HP after Maus (2900), is even bigger, and has the thickest frontal armor of all heavy tanks in the game. Like all other Japanese heavies starting at tier 6, Type 5 Heavy has the "choice" of a 'traditional' gun or a howitzer that is able to crush everything in your path.

Unlike Type 4 Heavy, the Type 5 has armor that works. It will generally bounce stuff even if you don't mean to. Improvements include "frontal weakspots", and thicker side armor, that will allows you to laugh in the face of most tanks if you're at just a slight angle. It offers a massively improved survivability over the Type 4, and is a much more pleasant tank to play.

The Type 5 Heavy is rightfully considered a hard tank to beat, excelling at "reliably" damage dealer with every shot while also bouncing a few in return. It definitely deserves it status and most of the bad words attributed to it. Like other Japanese heavies, Type 5 Heavy is huge and slow, but still quick enough to get around. No real trades made for the gun and armor combination. Of course, like most superheavies it's "weak when surrounded", even more so because the damage output over time is limited. That doesn't matter when you hug a corner and peek when you're reloaded, of course, which is how 99% of games play out.


The Type 5 Heavy marks the end of its Japanese heavy line.

World of Tanks T110E4 - 7 Kills 10K Damage

The T110E4 is an American tier 10 turreted tank destroyer.

In 1954, a conference on future heavy tanks was held in Detroit. Alongside other advanced projects, the Chrysler Corporation suggested a new tank on the basis of the TS-31 project. The main goal was to make the tank fit the Bern national tunnel. Several variants were considered, but the project was canceled.

The T110E4 is the tier X turreted American Tank Destroyer. The E4 features an armored turret with a strong mantlet, but many weakspots and low gun depression limit the E4's hull-down potential. This tank also has much improved frontal armor on par with the T110E5. However the sides and rear armor are still incredibly weak, so make sure to keep the front towards the enemy at all times to reduce damage taken. The upgraded 155mm cannon has a lower rate of fire to balance having a rotating turret so you must stay in the line of support. Because of the nature of the design, which was finalized by Wargaming, the turret can only rotate 90 degrees to the left or right so this tank is still vulnerable to flanking to some degree. Still, the upgrade to overall armor protection and the boost to penetration and fire rate can make this tank a serious threat to anyone who happens to face it.

The T110E4 marks the end of its American tank destroyer line.
